Industry-University Cooperation
Departmental focus areas correspond with the fields of active research being pursued by the faculty. The department is home to a number of research teams and programs contributing to the fields of property management, micro-business management, health care services management, marketing, and human resources management. Students strengthen their independent management, research, and planning skills through their work in these diverse programs.
Our department is working closely with the private sector on various industry-university projects in the Taichung area. More than 20 different industrial associations and companies have contracts with us to date. The results are profound and are respected by our partners. Our students benefit greatly from the opportunity to participate in these research projects. By investigating issues arising from these industry projects our students have the opportunity to improve their practical management ability in the real workplace
